- The Vybe Alert is a patent-pending slender call alert device that is designed to be worn under your clothes and out of sight. When an incoming call reaches your cell phone, the phone triggers the Vybe to vibrate, alerting you to the call. You then answer your phone as normal.
- How does this thing work?
- The Vybe Alert uses the Bluetooth handsfree profile that is ubiquitous in most phones sold in the US today.
- Why under clothes? Why not jewlery or something like that?
- It turns out that many fashionable women choose not to wear the exact same jewlery article every day. The Vybe Alert was designed to avoid conflict with the wearer's sense of fashion, not impose upon it. We know technology. You know fashion. Each does what we do best.
- Can I use this and my handsfree ear piece?
- No, not at the same time. This is a limitation of the way Bluetooth is built. We are working on finding solutions for future versions, but for now the limitation is in the phone. You can pair both, but only one can be active at a time.
- Why aren't there more answers here?
- Well, since the device isn't shipping yet, we are still working on understanding what issues will develop. Rest assured that any issues that develop will be explained here.
